Sunday, May 20: 2nd Congressional District Caucus at 10:30 a.m. at Stanwood High School Performing Arts Center, 7400 272nd St. NW, Stanwood, WA. Delegates elected at the Island County Convention in Langley on April 29 should attend this caucus.
Sunday, May 20: “How Not to Build the Middle Class”. The Whidbey Island Democratic Club presents its first Forum of the year with John Burbank, Executive Director of the Economic Opportunity Institute, a public policy think tank based in Seattle. The institute’s mission is to help create policies that build long-term economic security and ensure prosperity for the middle class in Washington State. June 21: Special Meeting of Island County Democrats. A special meeting of Island County Democrats will be held on June 21, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Commissioners Hearing Room in Coupeville, and with an electronic link to a private home on Camano Island.
